Meet Karen
A self taught cook who enjoys creating culinary experiences for the people she loves and sharing her general love for food with her audience.
Killa K
Karen is a Southern girl with a love of food, travel and wellness. A bit of a travel junkie, Karen also loves to explore new places and cultures. Her dream life (which she intends to create for herself) is one that allows her to practice self-care and a healthy lifestyle, while traveling and being able to showcase her love of food – both cooked by her and cooked for her! She moved to New Orleans, LA to pursue her undergraduate degrees in Marketing and Management, as well as her MBA.
Her 10 year career was focused on Human Resources and Project Management roles; working in the hospitality, real estate, health insurance and healthcare industries. She also does business consulting from time to time on her own. Life has changed quite a bit in the past few years.
More recently, Karen was a cast member on Married At First Sight and the world was introduced to “Killa K”. She gained a husband, a dog, and a new platform. It’s been a wild ride, but Karen is ready to use her platform to spread positive energy, stay connected with her fan base and showcase more of her true light. Her newest venture is in her first love — cooking. This is only the beginning. She looks forward to curating her first cook book and has many other plans in store to share herself and the things she loves with her fan base
